National Eyewear Day 2025: A Celebration of Vision, Community, and Giving Back

Every year on June 6th, something special happens in Port Chester. National Eyewear Day isn't just a date on the calendar for us—it’s a heartfelt tradition, a community event, and a proud moment where vision care and community spirit come together in perfect focus.

This year, NED 2025 was no exception.

Thanks to the unwavering support of our neighbors in Port Chester and surrounding areas, this year’s celebration was once again a remarkable success. We were honored to partner with our friends at Optical Academy to provide free comprehensive eye exams to everyone who came through. Seeing people of all ages prioritizing their eye health was a powerful reminder of why we do what we do.

And what’s a great pair of eyes without great frames? We were thrilled to help so many attendees find their perfect look with stylish new eyewear from Zyloware. Whether it was bold and fashion-forward or classic and understated, we loved watching your personalities shine through your new specs.

National Eyewear Day also holds a special place in our hearts because it falls on Joseph Shyer’s birthday—a date that honors not only the legacy of leadership in our family-owned business, but also our deep-rooted commitment to giving back to the community that has supported us for generations.
